About

My name is Leslie.  I have been homeschooling my two little cowgirls since 2010.  Over the years, I’ve tried different philosophies, and can definitely define our homeschool style as “eclectic.”  It has been an amazing journey.  When I first started, someone told me that I’d be a different person by the end of my first year, and I certainly think that’s true!  Homeschooling has helped me find my true passion (American history), and because of it, I’m pursuing a degree, and prepping myself for a post-homeschool career (in 8 years).

I wear many hats.  In addition to teaching my girls, I run a science club for girls, a field trip club, Lego League, help with the family business, assist with part of our 4-H club, go to school part time, work part time, and run our household.  It takes a lot of work, but I do my best to stay on top of things!  I’d be lost without my handy dandy spiral notebook 🙂

My hobbies include: planning things (anything, please!), going on road trips with my family, drinking wine or coffee with friends, and spending as much time at home as possible.
